Since everyone else likes fighting, Ponyboy feels out of place.ĭarry tells him he thinks it's not a good idea for him to go to the fight, since he's "tensed up too much." He can hardly eat because he doesn't feel well, and he sneaks some aspirins when his brothers aren't looking.
